hello,

I'm Lebanese and my passport is stamped with several (expired) Schengen visas. I have just applied for a visa at the embassy of Switzerland, two entries, to watch two concerts on different dates, within three months. They told me to bring my passport again in ten days and then come back after two working days to retrieve it. Is this a good sign or does it not necessarily mean I got the visa ?
I have one main question, as Switzerland is sort of a special case, being a new additon to the Schengen states.
In case I get only one entry, can I travel to other Schengen countries or just Liechtenstein ? And if so, does it have to be by train ?

Thank you.

It is not a sign: they do it for every Lebanese. Any Schengen consulate has to consult other Schengen central administrations when processing a Schengen visa applied for by a Lebanese national, which explains the 10 days delay.

Switzerland is the last addition to Schengen, but it is not a special case. Any Schengen visa issued by a Swiss consulate allows its holder to travel within the whole Schengen area.

Hello,

I got two entries, but if it says "21 days", it's cumulative of both trips, right ?
In the visa "type", there is only: "Etats Schengen", but since it was issued by the Swiss embassy, can I still go to Liechtenstein without any problem ?

Thanks again for your time.

And also, there will be no problem if I take internal flights, right ? Or should I just stick to trains ?
Sorry again.

It is the first time a question is asked regarding entry in Liechtenstein in the Forum ! Why don't you ask the Swiss Embassy and let us know the result ? How many entries dis you get ? Crossing the Swiss-Liechtenstein border may be counted as a Schengen border crossing.

Regarding 21 days: it is cumulative of both trips. While within the Schengen area, you can take internal flights and/or travel by train: free movement within the Schengen area without any immigration border control.
