hello my name is leah.My boyfriend,(Marc) and i applied for a working holiday visa in France (in july 2006)we are both Australian and applied in australia. I recieved my visa,but Marc was refused. He appealed this a week later by sending all the relevant information to nantes,france. We had already purchased the insurance and tickets etc. so we came to france on the 24th of august as planned. we recieved a letter in september saying they needed a few documents from us,so we sent them. We then recieved a letter on the 11th of october stating they recieved the information and they'll let us know the outcome.
we have not heard back from them since and it is almost 90 days since we have been here.
we dont know what to do?
I have a nanny position with a family until july 2007 and marc is not working because he doesnt have visa.
If we have not heard from Nantes before the24th of november what should we do??? Can we contact them somehow(i cant get a phone number for them)
can he apply for an extension to stay here,if so how do we do that?
are there any other options???
