Multiple Trips

Hello,

In case of multiple trips back and forth to Schengen States (say over a period of six months and not more than 90 days in total), is it the case that one can apply at any one of the consulates (related to the trip) as long as one will stay the longest stay in that Schengen State where the application has been submitted?

Does the separation between individual trips matter in case of an application for a multiple entry schengen visa?

In particular, please note that "You wish to travel to several Schengen States, but France is the country where you are going to spend most of your time" point in the Section 2.

The country of main destination is determined according to the number of days, but also according to the purpose of the trip and the route envisaged. When assessing these factors, the Consulate will focus on the supporting documents submitted by the applicant.
