Visit to all Schenjen states

Dear all,
I am an intern from India currently worling in France. My visa issued by the French consulate reads "France (+1 Schengen Transit) Type D". .i have already made this 1 transit at the Vienna Airport. I dont yet have a residence permit at France
Like everyone else i want to visit the nearby schengen states (Italy,Germany and Spain especially). So am i allowed to travel to these states with my current visa?
if not could anyone please suggest me a way to obtain a schengen visa which culd cover all these states? whom should i contact regarding this visa? my stay here is till June 2006 and i would like to visit these places separately. It is ok if i could only get a three month visa, since i could make arrangements for visiting these places separately within these three months.
Someone please help me on this issue.

Hello,

There is no border control in the Schengen area. Therefore you should not face any difficulty when travelling from one Schengen country to another provided you never exit the Schengen area.

If you plan to exit the Schengen area and return to it afterwards, i suggest you wait until you obtain your residence permit as it is not possible to obtain a Schengen visa in the Schengen area itself.
