I am worried about the type of visa i got.
Scenario: I was offered a position to conduct scientific research in Barcelona from Aug15,2008 - July 2009. I applied for a long-term visa for this time period. I got my visa today and it says
Valid for: Espana (+1 TRANS.05 SCHENGEN)
From: Aug 15 08 until November 30, 2008
Type: D
Number of Entries:MULT
Duration of stay:90days
Remarks:Estudios
Can you PLEASE tell me what all of this means?
Why does it say only 90days if my application and offer letter clearly shows ~1 year (11months)?
Do I have to take care of more paperwork when I get to Spain?
How long before I am allowed to travel to other Schengen countries?
